Sequels everywhere!
Hey guys,
Seems like a lot is being announced these few days! Haze, Warhawk, Resistance-it doesn’t end there!

Haze will be having 4 player co-op! Yes, that’s right, FOUR PLAYERS! With the developers Free Radical (creators of TimeSplitters), famous for putting next generation features into their games, this will indeed be a fun ride for all. Don’t forget Nectar-that sweet performance enhancing drug that the soldiers will use, perhaps this may enhance the 4 player experience? Maybe one will get a high dosage of side effects and attack friendlies..and it’s all part of the story!
Warhawk will also be getting a downloadable expansion! And could be released BEFORE the holidays are over!
Jobe, the director of Warhawk has already stated:
“We’ve already made significant updates on the server-side to help issues with stats and connectivity, and we will further update the community with additional server-side updates, as well as client-side patches.”
An expansion pack has also been hinted, perhaps introducing new game modes, maps, classes, vehicles, weapons? Warhawk could get a LOT more interesting during the next month or so…
And here we come to what many hardcore PS3-FPS hybrid fans’ consider to be their favourite game: Resistance:Fall of Man.
Resistance:Fall of Man went up to number 8 from number 22 on the UK sales charts this week, despite many religious anti-Resistance views (*cough* blowing up the church *cough*)
I digress…the main news, however, is that in November 2008 (why do all the good things happen in November?..), Resistance:Fall of Man 2 may be released!
This time, it’s going to take place in the United States, with a Chimerian invasion of various major cities (finally the US gets its ass slapped).
Add vehicles + possible flying vehicles in multiplayer, and you get a massively awesome title I probably will buy. (Hmm..when’s Killzone 2 getting released again…)
And all this in Resistance 2, for a climatic finish in Resistance 3! Don’t you just love PS3 news!
Sure beats some random game called “The Club” where people fight in urban battlefields, travelling around the globe eh? Pfft…:P
