Apparently, Rockstar representative Hosi Simon has stated that the exclusive version of GTA IV will go to the Xbox 360. That means if you want the true, total GTA IV experience, that will mean you need to buy the Xbox 360 version. Which…kinda sucks, but then again, what is GTA IV compared with all the hotshot exclusive games the PS3 will get like Killzone 2, Final Fantasy XIII, Devil May Cry 4 and Gran Turismo 5. (Not sure if Metal Gear Solid 4 is still exclusive, heard it wasn’t)
And this comical comment appeared at PS3 Center:

Awesome news today, here’s the August line up for the PS3!
August 14:
Lair
Madden NFL 08
August 21:
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2
August 28:
Dynasty Warriors:GUNDAM…righteo..
Lair and GRAW2 will definately be games that you need to consider to buy. Top notch graphics and gameplay = absolutely fantastic. As for Dynasty Warriors:GUNDAM..well…give it a try It’s Dynasty Warriors, and its GUNDAM! Remixed together! So yeah…
Another exciting day here! The $100 price drop seems to be continuing its stranglehold of the market! It has taken the best selling spot at Amazon.com from the Nintendo Wii for the first time in months! It has also made many retail chains sell out of their stock, with stores such as CompUSA being sold out of BOTH their retail stores and online site.
Surely, the PS3 is dominating. More of this, and it might just push its way right through the console war!
More interesting news just comes one after the other! In Sony’s ThreeSpeech blog, Sony has stated that it’s mission is to “make gamers cry”.
Why? These games are “absolutely spectacular.”. Hmm. I shall wait and see, then!
In other news..in the Famitsu most wanted list in Japan, seems like the PS3 is dominating as it has taken 4 of the 5 top spots! Here is the full list:
1. (1 / 1) Dragon Quest IX NDS Square Enix
2. (2 / 2) Final Fantasy XIII PS3 Square Enix
3. (3 / 3) Biohazard 5 PS3 Capcom
4. (5 / 6) Monster Hunter 3 PS3 Capcom
5. (4 / 4) Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 Konami
6. (6 / 7) Super Smash Bros. Brawl Wii Nintendo

And more news to make Japanese games excited: an online beta for Metal Gear Solid 4! A beta to test the online capabilities of MGS4 will be released to 3 000 gamers from August 20th. We shall see how this goes!
It seems that since the $100 price cut for the 60 GB, sales have gone waaaay up. And somehow, managing to beat the Xbox 360 sales!
The PS3 outsold the Xbox 360 from July 7-July 14th, and is also continuing to do so this week!
Sony managed to sell: compared to Microsoft’s:
PS3 Xbox 360
41,005 units 35,084 units
This week Sony has sold about 60 000, compared to Microsoft’s 40 000. Fantastic!
But then……it seems that Metal Gear Solid 4 will actually be on the Xbox 360. What a bummer.
And a rumour is that Sony will be adding a whole lot more than just rumble to the SIXAXIS controller…be on the lookout for more information these coming weeks!
When we heard that the 60 GBPS3 was having it’s price dropped to $499, we were all pretty stoked. Then it was learned that Sony was, in fact, phasing out the 60GB PS3, leaving the new 80GB model the only option at $599. So really, the price drop was temporary.
…now Michael Pachter is saying that we should expect the 80GB PS3 to drop down to $499.
We believe that there are presently 2-3 million 60GB PS3s produced and not yet sold, and expect the entire supply to be diverted to the US to honor the new lower price point.
Once these units are sold through, we expect the company to lower the price of its 80GB model to USD 499 on a standalone basis.
Pachter went on to cite the new software emulation as a potential production cost for Sony that could lead to another price drop sometime next year.
We expect the USD 499 price cut to be maintained until early next year, when the 80GB model will likely be cut again to USD 399.
Hey guys!
It’s Tommy and he’s back again! After a 3 week holiday in Germany (not Bangladesh, as previously speculated), I am relieved to come back to a PS3 Rally that has been very well made to be up to date with all that holiday news!
Unfortunately, I figured out I missed E3. Bummer.
I sincerely thank everyone at 451 Press, including Magdalena and J.W. for writing the articles while I was away. You guys did absolutely great and covered nearly every aspect of info and news that was possible! Big congratulations.
Well, I shall start writing new news as from tomorrow, as there really is no news that I can post…except videos!
One of the games I look forward to the most is the Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars and Activision is bringing it to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
In QUAKE Wars, you can choose to play as Earth’s Global Defense Force or alien Strogg, with five different classes in each. Your character will grow in experience as you complete missions and objectives.
What is so great about Quake Wars then? Well it is the only game that (in my opinion) have a slight chance to kick some Digital Illusion but and beat up the Battlefield franchise.
And now, since it’s made for all the platforms I expect some of you guys to let me kick you’re ass when the game hits the shelves…
